A below par performance combined with two well taken goals saw to it that Gunnislake went in to the half-time interval two goals down.

The second half saw the home side encamp themselves and the play in the Camelford half of the pitch. Gunnislake halved the arrears on the hour mark when a Ken Ord throughball came to Andy Wakeham who finished well from the edge of the penalty area.

Gunnislake though were unable to find the target again as, inspite of much effort, Camelford defended in numbers and did so well with a succession of last ditch tackles, headers, interceptions and saves.

This was Gunnislake's first home defeat of the season in all competitions but with results elsewhere going their way they maintained their cushion at the top of the table.
