The 5th Bodmin Moor Poetry Festival will take place later this month, offering a mix of readings, workshops, visual art, walks and music. Taking place from Friday, May 27, to Sunday, May 29, centred on Sterts Theatre at Upton Cross, its headline poets include multi-awardwinning Pascale Petit, who now lives in South East Cornwall, TS Eliot Poetry Award winner Sarah Howe, and poet and crime writer John Harvey, creator of detective Charlie Resnick. Young writers will be celebrated with a third event curated by Dobwalls-born Rachael Allen which will also feature finalists from the Cornwall leg of this year’s Poetry by Heart schools’ competition.
