Volunteers with Looe RNLI’s community safety team will be at the Quayside centre West Looe tomorrow (March 24) offering general safety advice and a free lifejacket safety check for everyone who goes out onto the water.

Looe RNLI’s community safety team will be present to offer safety advice during the Looe Boat Jumble sale from 10am until 4pm.

The team will have information on checking the seaworthiness of your craft, lifejackets, safety equipment, radios and location beacons as well as advice on what to do in an emergency.

Anyone who goes out onto the water is invited to bring along their personal lifejackets as Ocean Safety are offering free lifejacket checks.

MarineCo, Blackdog and other commercial suppliers will also be there to discuss any repairs that are needed and to demonstrate their range of safety equipment and boat supplies.
