The official Bloodhound SSC exhibition at the Royal Cornwall Museum offers children the opportunity to design, build and test their own air powered rocket in tribute to the forthcoming attempt by the Bloodhound supercar on the world land speed record.

Visitors’ cars are put to test on the track, and much like Top Gear’s famous ‘lap time leader board’ each family’s fastest time goes onto the ‘RCM leader board’.

Current leaders the True family, from Truro, reached the end of the track in 2.3 seconds!
