Hundreds of bikers who congregated at a show near Liskeard have helped to keep the Cornwall Blood Bikes on the road.

A bike show jointly held by the Aquila and Talon motorcycle clubs saw more than 350 people from all over Cornwall and beyond gather at the Chequered Flag, near Liskeard.

Club members and independent enthusiasts enjoyed a ‘blisteringly hot day’ and live music from Callington trio The Jack.

Proceeds from the event were to benefit the Cornwall Blood Bikes, and a cheque for £750 was later presented by the Talons to volunteer rider with the Cornwall Blood Bikes Geoff Crocker.

The Blood Bikes were at the show from start to finish with a Response Bike, and the blood bike mini-moto for the young ones.
