THE equivalent to TV's Desperate Housewives are Wilcoves 'Desperate Bell Ringers'. Since the departure of Royal Marine bandsman leader Matt Harding, the group urgently needs somone with musical knowledge to lead them. At the moment, leaderless, the ringers are in danger of disbanding which would be a great pity. The ringers meet on Thursday evenings for an hour-and-a-half practise session.
