The first working party of 2017 to be organised by the Friends of Par Beach will take place on Sunday, January 22, at the local nature reserve from 10.30am-12.30pm.

With the work taking the form of bramble digging in a clearing created last winter, all volunteers are advised to wear suitable clothing and footwear and to take along a spade, loppers and secateurs if possible.

Protective gloves are available but people can take their own.

Any under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

The working party will meet by the sculpture next to the access road towards the western car park and there will be refreshments for those taking part.
