MARINE charity the Marine Conservation Society is looking for volunteers to get on board with its Great British Beach Clean (September 15 to 18).

Volunteers spruce up hundreds of beaches around the coast and record litter finds too.

In 2016, 268,384 individual pieces of litter were picked up by just under 6,000 volunteers who cleaned up more than 360 beaches from Cornwall to Cumbria.
