STAFF at Ginsters have beaten last year's fundraising target from their charity ball and raised more than £7,300 for a cancer charity.

In its fifth year, the black tie event, held at Devonport dockyard, included dinner, a charity auction and other fundraising activities all in aid of The Mustard Tree Macmillan Cancer Support Centre at Derriford Hospital.

Nicky Searle from Ginsters and one of the organisers of the event said: 'We are so pleased to have raised such a great amount.'
