TWO youngsters who help out at Siblyback Lake were presented with awards at the South West Lakes Trust's 13th annual volunteer awards ceremony.

Jack Dilworth, of Darley Ford, and George Asquith, of Liskeard, were both recognised for their contribution to watersports.

The ceremony saw volunteers from both the South West Lakes Trust and the Wheal Martyn Trust gathering at Tamar Lakes, near Bude, to receive awards, before taking part in fishing or watersports activities.

Volunteers also gave presentations about their roles, reflecting the wide range of work carried out, which includes conservation, fishing and watersports tuition.
