THE Antony estate is preparing to close for the winter but there is a last chance to enjoy the autumn colour for those who visit before Thursday, 28 October.
The black walnut tree crowning the main lawn turns a striking shade of bright gold and there are beautiful scenes of ‘hero’ trees and autumnal framed views down to the River Lynher.
The National Trust property is encouraging families to enjoy the autumnal display at Antony with family activities planned for between 26 and 28 October. Activities include a pumpkin hunt, welly walk, tree rubbings challenge, autumn photoshoot and a ‘make a magic wand’ activity. The den building area will be transformed into a place to make a magic wand. Families need to forage for stick wands then follow the magical steps.
