A boy from Cornwall is attempting to break the record for the fastest crossing of Australia on a bicycle by a child.
Si-am Juntakereket, 13, hopes to raise £100,000 for disadvantaged and vulnerable children, whilst inspiring people to get active.
He has garnered the support of numerous sponsors, including Liskeard businesses Barnecutts, Ideal Foods and Voice Group.
The teenager, from Bodmin is being accompanied by his mum Tania, who is driving a support vehicle, and cycling coach Bob Brown, an endurance athlete who lives in South East Cornwall.
Si-am set off on March 3 from the town of Forster on the east coast of Australia and aims to reach Perth off the west coast within 32 days, having covered 2,784 miles.
