A WINTER Arts Fair is being held this Saturday, with any local artists and groups exhibiting their work alongside the Waterfront Colour Circle. The Waterfront Colour Circle are a non-profiting organisation, which offers art tuition to anyone with a disability such as MS, Arthritis, recovering stroke victims and depression. The event is being held not only to raise funds, but to highlight the unique approach of the Waterfront Colour Circle towards creativity. Christine Frankham, said: 'I have MS and am a participant in the workshops, where I have witnessed remarkable results from the organisation. We study and work under expert art tutors and not only is it non-patronising toward the disabled, but as a resident of a nursing home in Torpoint, it has become the highlight of the week for myself and the other users. As well as producing some really interesting paintings, I have made many new friends.' The Arts Fair will be held at the Torpoint Town Hall (Council Chambers) on Saturday, December 11, between 11am and 4pm. For further information contact Janet Evans on 01752 811158.
