Two local artists have teamed up for a joint two-week exhibition.

Christina Morton started experimenting with oils on moving to Cornwall and went to Saltash College to complete a two-year art and design course.

Since then she has experimented further and developed and improved her own style in oils.

She loves seaside scenes (pictured) which bring back fond memories of childhood. Her favourites are mixed groups of adults and children having fun.

Brenda Murphy taught herself to paint and has since had solo exhibitions and taught at art clubs.

She paints in oils and pastels and has taught watercolour, a medium which she says she particularly enjoys.

The two exhibit at the Ebenezer Gallery in Polperro from today to August 20.
