Many local artists and craftspeople are currently showing their work for the first time at an exhibition in Polperro.

The East Cornwall Society of Artists will hold its spring exhibition at the Eben-ezer Gallery on The Coombes until Sunday, April 23.

Work ranges from atmospheric paintings of the Cornish coast and countryside through to ceramics and turned wood.

The gallery is run by volunteers and entry is free – but donations are shared between the Cornwall Air Ambulance and the RNLI, with a small amount taken towards running costs.

The East Cornwall Society of Artists will take a short break before the launch of its summer exhibition on Saturday, April 29.
