Torpoint Lady Singers presented a 20th anniversary concert at Cornerstone Church. Radio and television presenter Alison Johns was compere for the evening and guest choir Reflections provided its own brand of music. Musical director Sylvia Fraser and accompanist Sue Westwell provided a piano duet, with soloists Christine Gregory, Pat Wilson, Neil Asprey and Brian Oates adding to the enjoyment of the evening. The large audience also saw a cheque for £831.12 presented to Torpoint mayor Julie Martin for her charities Jeremiah's Journey and St Luke's Hospice. The money was raised from Torpoint Lady Singers' and Rame Peninsula Male Voice Choir's joint Christmas concert.
