The speaker at the recent meeting of the Fowey Ladies' Luncheon club was Annie Price who talked on Ascension Island.
She had previously visited the club when she talked about the time she and a colleague were caught on South Georgia at the time of the invasion by Argentinian troops.
The February speaker was Mrs Sibthorp who talked on quilting.
