Looe Community School's annual May Fair proved a huge success at the weekend raising the grand total of £1,200 for school projects. Hundreds of students, parents and friends joined in the fun which included attractions such as a Paris Cafe, barbecue and numerous stalls. There were various sporting activities including darts, in which head teacher Heather Jenkins showed unsuspected talents by winning. However, the most popular event involved the chance to dunk a teacher! The money raised by the event will go towards a new basketball kit for the senior boys' team and the provision of new fencing kit.
