A second coffee morning held at the Public Hall in Liskeard raised £1,451 for the Tsunami appeal. Together with the proceeds raised at the same location earlier this month this brought the total to £3,166. All the money has been forwarded to the ShelterBox Trust in Helston to help with the work in those countries devastated by the Tsunami. The Mayor of Liskeard, Councillor Sandra Preston, in thanking people for their support, said many helpers had 'literally rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in'. She added: 'Whilst many events have been organised in support of the Tsunami appeal, people were exceptionally generous. 'So a very big thank you to everyone.'
