Have you ever dreamed of trekking through an African Wilderness, spending your nights sleeping under the stars?

I would like to entice you and readers to mark the millennium for Mencap, by taking part in the ultimate outdoor challenge, in a landscape which most of us only romanticise about.

In June 2000 (Royal) Mencap, the leading charity for people with a learning disability will be organising a 10 day trek of a lifetime in Chimanimani, a remote area in the Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe.

Don't miss the rare opportunity to trek amidst a rugged and beautiful African landscape while raising funds for people with learning disabilities to lead fulfilling lives.

What an experience and all for a great cause! All you need to do is pay a £225 registration fee, raise a minimum sponsorship requirement and flights, food and accommodation are all covered.

Anyone is welcome to take part and Mencap will provide fundraising and training tips.

Widen your horizons in the next century and Trek Zimbabwe for Mencap. Please call 0645 777 779 to receive your trek pack or write to Trek Zimbabwe, Mencap FREEPOST, London EC1B 1AA.
