The family of an 'outstanding' teenager who died in a moped accident have described her as 'a bright light in a dark world, now extinguished'. Roseanne Allen, 16, from Fowey died at the scene after her 49cc moped was involved in a collision with a Ford Ka on the A3082, Par Moor Road at around 4.30pm on Monday.

'Rosie, as she is often referred to by her family and friends, was a constant source of joy and pride to her dad, Brian, mum, Gwen and brothers Timothy, Mathew and Luke,' said the family, adding that she would be deeply missed and was irreplaceable.

'Rosie enjoyed a close friendship with Dan Gill during the past two years and will be deeply missed by him and all her close friends. Our Rosie, a bright light in a dark world now extinguished.'
