POLICE in Liskeard are appealing for witnesses to an assault on a local man which took place opposite Baytree Trading antiques shop on Baytree Hill.
The unprovoked assault happened at around 2.45pm on Tuesday.
The 47-year-old man suffered minor facial injuries as a result of the attack.
Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time, or anyone who has any information regarding the incident, to contact them on 101 or email [email protected]oting reference number 436 of February 9.
