Two crews from Torpoint Community Fire Station found an area of undergrowth in the Antony Road area alight after a 999 call shortly after 9.30pm on Friday (July 7). They used beaters to put out the fire.

The fire is believed to have been started deliberately and Devon and Cornwall Police have been informed.
