Mine rescue experts and crews from Bodmin and Liskeard Fire Stations helped rescue a calf trapped down a mine shaft near Pensilva after receiving a call from the police on Saturday afternoon (April 29).
And on Sunday, crews from the same stations went to the rescue of sheep that had fallen 30ft down a quarry near Minions.
Liskeard firefighters posted pictures from the scenes on social media.
