Pike Street in the centre of Liskeard has reopened after being closed off to traffic by police.

A recovery truck took away a car with crash damage at the bottom of the street.

A police van parked in the middle of the road at the top of the street stopped vehicles from entering.

Another police van was parked in the middle of the road near the car with damage.

An ambulance and a paramedic vehicle were also at the scene.

A motorist is believed to have been taken to hospital.
