One crew from Fowey Fire Station found smoke issuing from an electrical box outside premises in Fore Street shortly after 9am.

The firefighters cordoned off the area to keep the public safe.

Engineers from Western Power Distribution dealt with the fire and made the scene safe, with help from the fire crew.
