Police and Crime Commissioner Alison Hernandez has launched a small grant scheme aimed at helping communities deal with antisocial behaviour (ASB).
A total of £80,000 has been made available in 2018.
Grants of between £250 and £2,500 are available to groups or individuals that identify problems and have a clear idea or project that helps tackle the situation.
The fund’s focus is on incidents of ASB which link closely to community safety and crime.
The scheme is not intended to be used for individual or neighbour disputes, noise complaints or issues like littering or dog fouling.
Applicants need to demonstrate support for their bid from within the local community and from a local councillor.
