More hoax calls were made to schools in Cornwall yesterday.
On Monday, schools across the country reported that they had received hoax calls, including three in Devon and Cornwall.
Further malicious calls were made to three schools in Devon and Cornwall, as well as a number of other schools throughout the country, yesterday (May 24).
The victims included Connor Downs primary school, Hayle and Carclaze Community Junior School, St Austell.

Devon and Cornwall issued with multiple snow and ice warningsCarclaze Community Junior School evacuated pupils for a short while for precautionary searches to take place.
Pupils at Connor Downs Primary School were evacuated and sent home.
The police have insisted that at no time were any staff or pupils in any danger.
A spokesperson said: ’Whilst we are currently of the opinion that these calls are without substance, as a precaution, police officers attended each of the schools in question.
’All of the cases reported are being treated as hoax calls and will be offences under the Malicious Communications Act. We take this extremely seriously, and condemn whoever is responsible.
’Malicious threats such as these divert police resources and cause disruption and alarm to the public and are completely irresponsible.
’Members of the public are encouraged to be vigilant and report anything suspicious to police.’
The schools affected on Monday included Charlestown Primary School.
