A MAJOR A-road in Cornwall leading to Trago Mills, Liskeard, has been blocked for several hours following a motorcycle collision.

The motorcyclist involved in the single vehicle collision was taken to hospital as a result.

Reports were received at around 11am today (Tuesday, September 15) that the A38 westbound near Glynn, Bodmin, was blocked.

Very slow traffic has been reported due to an “accident” between the Colesloggett turn off (Glynn) and Turfdown Road (Turfdown).

Road traffic reporting system Inrix gave an update at around 1pm which stated: “Slow traffic due to earlier accident on A38 Westbound between the Colesloggett turn off (Glynn) and Turfdown Road (Turfdown).”

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson confirmed: “This was a single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle. The motorcyclist was taken to hospital. His injuries aren’t life-threatening or life-changing.”
