One person was injured in an accident on the A390 at Fowey Cross, Lostwithiel, yesterday evening.

Firefighters from Lostwithiel and the rescue tender from Bodmin found one vehicle on its side with one person trapped, shortly after 7pm.

Firefighters stabilised the vehicle before releasing the casualty, who was then left in the care of the Ambulance Service.

Devon and Cornwall Police were also at the scene.
