A Liskeard fish and chip shop was damaged by fire yesterday. The blaze broke out in the range at the shop in Addington at lunchtime. Firefighters from Liskeard and Callington used two breathing apparatus and a hosereel with foam to put out the flames.

The shop involved was incorrectly identified in an earlier version of this report, for which we apologise.
