A LOOE man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a collision with a pedestrian yesterday.
An 81-year-old woman sustained serious injuries, said police, in the incident on Fore Street at around 12.55pm.
The vehicle was a black BMW Z4 convertible whose occupants were not injured.
The pedestrian was taken to Derriford Hospital.
“A 57-year-old man from Looe was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and is currently in custody,” said police.
