A member of the public dialled 999 after seeing dangerous loose slates on the roof of a building in Menheniot on Saturday (December 16) afternoon

A Cornwall Council structural surveyor investigated and due to the height of the building asked for assistance to remove the loose tiles.

An appliance from Liskeard Community Fire Station was mobilised and firefighters removed any dangerous tiles.
