An eight-foot piece of corrugated metal was hanging precariously over a street.
One appliance from Torpoint went to the building in Beach Hill, Downderry, where the metal was hanging dangerously off a balcony.
Crews used a 13.5 metre ladder to reach the second floor balcony.
They removed the metal from the building, making the area safe.
