Liskeard police are looking for a volunteer to run the town’s Police Cadet Scheme.
Requiring a fortnightly commitment on a Wednesday evening, and some weekends, the successful candidate would be involved with the running and supervision of cadet evenings and ideally assist with social media, newsletters, good news stories and deliver sessions. Full training and support will be provided.
The purpose of the Police Cadets is not to recruit police officers of the future, but to encourage the spirit of adventure and good citizenship amongst its young members. Young people from all backgrounds are encouraged to join Police Cadets, including those who may be vulnerable to the influences of crime and social exclusion.
