Twelve firefighters from Launceston tackled a chimney fire in Daws House. Crews had to deal with the fire from the roof using ladders and safe height lines.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said it dealt with 204 chimney fires during 2014-15 and said most would have been preventable by regular sweeping.
