Liskeard and Callington firefighters dealt with an out-of-control bonfire at Newbridge yesterday.

Two appliances from Callington and one appliance from Liskeard found approximately two acres of wooded land on fire at Pidgeon Wood.

Beaters, a light portable pump and two hosereels were used to put out the fire.
