Bikers asked to step up their security after spate of thefts

POLICE in Cornwall are urging motorcyclists to be vigilant after a spate of thefts.

Posting on social media, Bodmin Police said: ’We have seen a recent increase in the number of motorcycles being stolen (without keys) across Cornwall - particularly 125s.

’If you own a motorbike or moped of any description, please consider taking all possible precautions to guard against the theft of your bike. If you have any additional security equipment (such as a brake lock), please use it and be sensible about where your bike is parked.’
