Police have confirmed that two vehicles were involved in a serious crash on the A38 this morning.The main road remains closed eastbound.This morning the Cornish Times reported the following:Reports are coming in of a bad accident on the A38 at Liskeard.

An eyewitness said the air ambulance was called to the crash at the Island Shop junction on the outskirts of the town.

Police report that the road is blocked eastbound.In an update, the police said the accident took place between Island Shop and the Lean Quarry turning.
