Police today appealed for witnesses to a fatal collision on the A390 at St Ann’s Chapel to come forward.
The tragedy happened on Monday, May 14.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 9.10am to reports that a Vauxhall Meriva and a Fiat Punto had collided.
The driver of the Vauxhall, a 74-year-old local man, was taken to Derriford Hospital where he died on Friday, May 18.
The driver of the Fiat, a 29-year-old woman who lives locally, received slight injuries.
A full investigation of the scene was completed and enquiries are continuing to determine the cause, said police.
