THE Cornwall Air Ambulance was called out to help the victim of a kitchen fire early yesterday.
Fire and Rescue Service crews from Tolvaddon called for help from the scene of a small fire in a semi detached bungalow at Tremayne Park, Pengegon.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze using a hosereel and two sets of breathing apparatus. Paramedics were asked to help a woman suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation.
The occupants were woken in the night by their working smoke alarm which successfully detected the smoke from the fire.
