An accident involving three vehicles is thought to have been caused when one of them hit a patch of black ice.
The accident happened on the A374 at Trerulefoot shortly before 8 this morning.
One appliance from Liskeard Fire Station was sent to the incident.
There were no persons trapped in the vehicles and the crew made the vehicles safe.
Police and paramedics were also there and highways teams were asked to treat the road.
