CARADON Men travelled to Plymouth unbeaten this season but felt sure this would be their sternest test yet.

Playing on Marjons' new pitch, it was the home side that seemed more comfortable with the slippy surface, having most of the opening ten minutes.

With Marjon attacking very high up the pitch, it was Caradon that had the first clear chance of the match. A speculative ball across the D from Neil Wallis found Dave Bryce with time and space, his clean shot beating the 'keeper but not the upright.

Caradon again hit the upright ten minutes later after a fine strike from Paul Luiten.
