Horrendous weather conditions – which saw the East Cornwall Premier League programme wiped out over the Christmas period – have left fixtures secretary Mike Murray with a headache over how to fit the matches in for the remainder of the season.
Said Murray: 'The damage has already been done and it could be a difficult job to fit in the re-arranged fixtures. I haven't started on them yet.'
At the moment, there are eight Premier Division and seven Division One games to re-arrange. The one advantage is that five of the Premier matches and two Division One clashes have floodlights, so midweek fixtures may have to be arranged.
The one certainty is that Millbrook will go into the New Year leading the Premier Division table.
