THE Tigers went into this match on the back of three defeats in a row, but put in a superb display to see off a determined DRD side.

Said captain Holly Lemon: 'We have worked

really hard at training over the last couple of weeks, and tonight's performance is proof that it is starting to pay off. Everyone played well and, for the first time this season, we really gelled as a team.'

Gabi Duffey made a cracking start to the game, only missing one attempt at goal in the first period.

Vicki Hastings picked off numerous balls in defence and, with both shooters on fine form, Liskeard were seven goals up before DRD had got off the mark.
