SALTASH continued their winning streak with a 27-11 victory over a Stithians side who never made this an easy fixture – and the hosts even took the lead in this Tribute Cornwall One encounter through a Chris Patton try.

Stithians kept attacking the visitors' defence, adding two penalty kicks in the first half through Nathan Strick and Mitchell Vague, but there was to be no upset on the cards.

The Ashes managed to break through for a try from Richard Skinnard and a penalty from Max Venables, and in the second period didn't let Stithians through once. Steve Hillman managed to score a two tries, while Tom Rickson also got his name on the scoresheet.
