Redruth v. Callington

CALLINGTON put the previous weekend's defeat against Falmouth firmly behind them with this comprehensive victory at Trewirgie.

With the home side batting first, Callington applied themselves well and soon picked up the wicket of Harry Bolland, thanks to a sharp Sam Higgins gulley catch off Dan Callinan.

Aiden Libby bowled South African player Christian Theron for 19, before a further two wickets fell to Matt Robins.

The Redruth middle order failed to contribute and all fell to the spin of Robins and Andy Libby, leaving the hosts reeling on 80 for eight.
