Cawsand Bay Sailing Club decided at the January committee meeting to donate £450 to Cornwall Air Ambulance, slightly more than the proceeds of the club's Carol Singing evening just before Christmas Eve. The singers and collectors weaved their way through Kingsand and Cawsand, including the hostelries along the way, and are pictured as their tour ended in Cawsand Square outside the Cross Keys, where refreshments were kindly provided by Geoff and Isobel Green.

The club needs volunteers to crew its safety boats on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings at spring, summer and autumn races. Though experience is an advantage, training will be given, please call Brian on 01752 823188 if you can help.
