Caradon got off to a winning start in the second half of their season to continue the string of good results they had enjoyed before the Christmas and New Year break.

The visitors were for-ced to make changes to their defence due to unavailability, and knew they had to keep possession of the ball to allow the team to settle.

Beth Harris was finding plenty of space on the right and combined well with Carrina Batten.

Their endeavour was rewarded with the opening goal when a forward run and pass from Glayne Price found Clare Poad, whose strike flew in to the corner of the net.
