CARADON travelled to the West Clubs' Women's League South Division's bottom club, Truro, expecting an easy win after the previous week's mauling of Falmouth, but fell behind after only ten minutes through a well-worked goal.

The visitors struggled to get to grips with the hard pitch, and passes that would normally have been weighted perfectly were finding their way off the sideline and giving possession back to the home side.

The right-hand side combination of Molly Walsh and Olivia Childs was starting to make headway, and chances were created in the circle, only for the final shot to hit the post or be well saved by the keeper.
